What is the first video game you ever played?
Oh man, that’s making me think long and hard. I remember getting an old Super Nintendo (I think!) from our neighbor when I was young, along with a few accessories. I think Duck Hunt and an Adam’s Family game were a few that work up until we broke that little orange gun haha. I didn’t really get hooked on video games until Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64.
What is your favorite game of all time?
Kingdom Hearts. I instantly fell in love with that game when I saw the opening credits. They still give me the chills. I loved the Square Enix and Disney cross over. Beating Sepiroth was one of my proudest gaming moments.
What do you do for fun when not playing video games?
Sadly, I don’t have much free time as I’m a college student and I work part time. I really enjoy spending time with my daughter, we live pretty close to Lake Michigan, so we’re exploring the local parks here.
How do you balance gaming and family life?
Gaming normally happens at night after the kiddo is asleep, or during nap times. I just recently started using ABC Mouse to get my daughter used to working a mouse and getting familiar with computers. She isn’t into Minecraft much, and prefers to be outside, so that’s where we’ve been spending most of our time lately.
