Adam’s 5 Favorite Mega Dads Moments of 2024
I want to thank everyone so much for making 2024 The Year of Mega Dads. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary, made great content and even greater friends, and had a ton of fun celebrating our Decennial.
Before we close the door on 2024 I wanted to share my 5 favorite Mega Dads moments from the year. 5 Things we did that I was really proud of. I hope you enjoyed them and I hope we have earned your eyes and ears for another year of fun in 2025!

#5 - Silent Hill: The Short Message SURPRISE!
In January we were all taken by surprise during the PlayStation State of Play when Konami shadow dropped a FREE Silent Hill title exclusively to the PlayStation 5. While not a full-featured game, The Short Message is a truncated version of Konami’s flagship horror title that welcomed us back to the series and helped ramp up the excitement for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake.
#4 - Nintendo Dads Reunion Podcast
As I celebrated 10 years of being a Mega Dads in 2024, there was one group of guys I knew I wanted to have a conversation with. Zac, Justin and Eric (also known as Jesse) were the very first group of content creators I struck up a friendship with after starting Mega Dads and we had a wonderfully reflective chat about 10 years of being a tired gamer.
#3 - Mega Dads go to the Movies!
The Summer of 2024 was all about getting out and going to the theater to see amazing movies. Antonio and Clay even had a limited series on our YouTube channel covering the films they saw and it was a huge hit. Even though they shit all over Twisters, which was the best movie of the year, we all enjoyed their takes on what happened on the big screen.
#2 - Voice 2024
Look. The election was a complete disaster and we’re in for 4 years of hellish buffoonery. But I will always be proud of the values we hold here at Mega Dads, and I was humbled by the voices who joined ours to stand up for what is right in this country.
The outcome was not what we wanted, but I’m proud to be associated with everyone who fought the good fight.
#1 - The Mega Dads Holiday Special
My favorite recurring piece of content we do here at Mega Dads is the Holiday Special. Every year we release this collection of silliness into the world and watch it LIVE together with our community. Singing, dancing, cookies, Pizza and of course Santa, all make this my favorite event of the year.
