Mega Dads Outreach: Prevent Child Abuse America

As parents we feel it is our greatest responsibility to protect our children and provide them with a safe place to grow and thrive. There is nothing more important to us than fostering a world in which our children can live the best lives possible. As a victim of child abuse myself, I know the long shadows that kind of pain can cast on someone’s life. There’s seldom a day that goes by where I’m not still impacted by the pain of what was inflicted on me as a child. These reasons are why when I was searching for a cause for Mega Dads Outreach to support in 2023 I could think of no other that meant more to me than the prevention of child abuse.

Prevent Child Abuse America has been around for fifty years and this year Team Mega Dads is putting the spotlight on their organization for our first Outreach initiative of the year. As a team we are raising awareness as well as fundraising for this organization throughout the year and we are kicking it off today as April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
